About us

About Together in Ability

Support should feel like more than a service — it should feel like belonging, connection and possibility.

We are a disability support provider dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where every person is valued for who they are. Our focus is on building genuine relationships, encouraging independence and creating opportunities for people to develop confidence, friendships and everyday life skills.

Whether we're cooking together, exploring the community, learning new skills, getting involved in sport or simply sharing a laugh, our supports are designed around real experiences and meaningful participation.

We take the time to understand each person's goals, interests, strengths and individual needs. We celebrate the small wins just as much as the big ones and encourage every person we support to have choice, use their voice and be an active part of their community.

For us, it's not about filling a day — it's about making the day count.

Together in Ability — Supporting Every Step, Celebrating Every Try.

Our mission

Life their way, one step at a time

Our mission is to create meaningful opportunities for people with disability to connect, grow, build confidence and live life their way.

Through genuine relationships, personalised support and real-life experiences, we empower each person to develop their independence, discover their strengths and be an active part of their community.

Every person matters, every achievement is worth celebrating, and every step forward counts.

Our story

Why Together in Ability was created

Together in Ability grew out of a simple frustration: too often, disability support looked like a shift to be covered rather than a day worth having. People were being taken to the same places, in big groups, with workers who barely knew their name.

We wanted to build something different — small groups, familiar faces, real friendships and days that people actually look forward to. A place where trying something for the first time is a big deal, and where families feel confident their person is genuinely known and cared for.

That's what we've built, and it's what guides every decision we make about how we support people.

What guides us

Our Values

Our values guide the way we support, connect and grow together.

Person-Centred

Every person is unique. We listen, respect individual choices and provide support that reflects each person's goals, interests and needs.

Connection & Belonging

Everyone deserves to feel included and valued. We create opportunities to build genuine friendships, meaningful relationships and a strong sense of belonging.

Independence & Growth

We encourage people to try new things, develop everyday skills, build confidence and become more independent at their own pace.

Choice & Voice

The people we support are at the centre of their own lives. We encourage choice, self-expression and involvement in decisions about their supports and experiences.

Inclusion & Respect

We celebrate individuality, culture and diversity, creating a safe and welcoming environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

Genuine Care

We believe great support starts with genuine relationships. We show up with compassion, patience, consistency and a commitment to making a positive difference.

Celebrate Every Try

Progress looks different for everyone. We celebrate the big achievements, the little wins and, most importantly, the courage to give something a go.

Acknowledgement of Country

Together in Ability acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live, work and share time together — the Darug people of Western Sydney — and pays respect to Elders past, present and emerging. We recognise the continuing connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to land, waters, culture and community.

We are committed to culturally safe, inclusive support for every participant, family and support worker who walks alongside us.

Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
